Virtual Organization Administrator#

Virtual Organization admins oversee the entire lifecycle of a virtual organization (VO). User and role management constitutes their primary activity, which involves creating, modifying, and deleting accounts, assigning permissions, and maintaining audit logs. The administration of community members, including potential subgroups, and compliance with prescribed policies fall within the responsibility of a VO admin.

Life-Cycle-Policy#

A life-cycle policy has to be fulfilled to manage resources, systems, or processes from their inception to their end-of-life. This requires defining binding rules and processes that comprehensively cover all phases of an entity’s existence. Particular attention shall be directed towards the deprovisioning process.
